🚁 Matchbox Mountain Helicopter Escape Playset — Race, Jump & Escape!
A 22-inch mountain chase course, a roaming helicopter, and two die-cast Matchbox cars racing for the finish line.
Why Kids Can't Put This Playset Down
Inspired by Matchbox The Movie, the Matchbox Mountain Helicopter Escape Playset turns tabletop play into a full-blown chase scene. Kids load two Matchbox vehicles at the top of a winding mountain course, activate a roaming helicopter, and then race to see if the cars can reach the bottom before the chopper — or the final bridge — takes them out.
It's the kind of open-ended, story-driven play that keeps young Matchbox fans coming back race after race, and it needs zero batteries to do it.
How the Chase Works
🏔️ A 22-Inch Mountain Course
The playset stands about 22 inches tall, packed with winding roads, gaps, jumps, and obstacles that make every trip down the mountain feel different.
🚁 The Helicopter Joins the Hunt
Pulling the handle partway sends the helicopter swirling down after the cars — kids have to judge the exact right moment to let their vehicles go before it catches up.
🏎️ Release the Cars
Pull the handle all the way down and both included 1:64 scale die-cast cars launch into the chase, tackling jumps and gaps on the way to the bottom.
🌉 The Final Bridge
Reaching the bottom isn't guaranteed — the cars need to survive the last bridge obstacle and outrun the helicopter to complete the escape.
