If there's a horse lover in your house, the LEGO Friends Horse Stable and Riding Academy (42688) is about to become their new favorite corner of the toy shelf. Designed for kids ages 7 and up, this 735-piece set turns simple play into a full imaginative world — riding lessons, stable chores, jumping practice, and cozy sleepovers above the stalls. Here's everything you need to know before you add it to cart.

🏇 A Riding Academy Built for Storytelling

The set centers on a detailed stable and riding academy where kids can walk through a full day of horse care: grooming, feeding, saddling up, and practicing jumps. When the day's lessons are done, the characters can even relax in the cozy sleeping loft built right above the stables — a small design touch that adds a lot of charm to everyday play.

🥕 Pretend-Play Accessories That Add Depth

What sets this build apart is the sheer number of small storytelling props packed inside: a horse blanket, jumps for practicing courses, a wheelbarrow, hay boxes, a carrot, a whiteboard for lesson planning, trophies, books, a washing station, and cozy beds. Every accessory gives kids a new reason to invent a fresh scenario.

• Horse blanket & feeding details
• Jumps for riding practice
• Wheelbarrow & hay boxes
• Washing station for horse care
• Whiteboard, trophies & books
• Cozy sleeping area above the stables

📱 Digital Building with the LEGO Builder App

Younger builders aren't left to figure it out alone. The set works with the free LEGO Builder app, which offers step-by-step digital instructions, lets kids save their progress, and even allows them to zoom and rotate the 3D model while they build — a nice bridge between screen time and hands-on play.
